I am still bitter, I still dont understand. Sometimes I can only sit and wonder if the person that took her life has any idea of what they did to her friends, her family and her little brother.

Its been over 2 years now and still no word on the person who took her from this world. I still hope everyday for the call that will finally bring closure for all of us still grieving.

My deepest sympathies go out to all of Mae's family and friends. I met Mae in Jr High, I was a new student and she was the first one to befriend me. We were pretty much inseparable thru Jr High and High School until I moved away my Junior year. When I moved back to Denver we reconnected. I'll always remember when she raced up to Denver to see me just after the birth of my son. We lost contact with each other for a while but then reconnected while she was in Atlanta. That is the last time I heard from my dear friend. I was trying to get reconnected with her once again when I learned of the tragic news. I am grateful to have had Mae as a friend and I will always cherish the time we had together. It sorrows me to think that she has been taken from all of us. Mae I want to thank you for being my friend you will be missed.

I was friends with Mae for 5yrs although we only met once. I met her over the phone when she lived in Atlanta. I had a layover on the way back to Dallas,TX for Christmas one year. We ate at a restaurant in the airport and exchanged gifts. We talked on the phone all the time. I loved her. She was my friend. We prayed together over the phone all the time. This is the kind of person she was.... Love...Kris

Mae was a good friend of mine, and she helped me through a very dark period of my life. Some of the best memories of my life include her, and I am so thankful and blessed she was a part of my life. Chicky Mama, you'll be greatly missed. Love, Red

Mae was my cousin Susan's daughter, although we have not seen
each other for a number of years,
Susan and I talked on the phone and
she always kept informed about her
children Mae and Paul.
I was shocked and saddened to think
that someone so loved by so many
could be taken away from those who
loved her so. My thoughts and prayers go out to her mom, dad, step-mom, and brother Paul and her
extended family.
She we will be missed by many.
May your family find peace in keeping
your memories alive.
God bless you Mae.
Love,
Cousin Pat

I am a second cousin to Mae through my late grandmother Ida Dietzold. Mae's grandmother Margaret VonAlmen was my grandmother's sister. I am so sorry for the loss. Like my sister Pattie I also met Mae the same day we all went out to lunch and had a really nice time. I remember her being very nice. Unfortunately we did not stay in contact. My prayers go out to her and her family. May she rest in peace. Her cousin Janice
