Margaret Helen Valdez passed away peacefully at the hospital in Colorado Springs on January 23, 2024. Born August 14, 1929 in Tacoma, Washington, she is survived by her husband, John; children, David (Mary) Blaskowsky, Karen (John) LaFontaine, and Steven (Leeann) Blaskowsky; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Hicks and one grandson.
A Rosary will take place at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church located at 927 N. Logan Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Divine Redeemer Food Pantry.

I have so many fond memories of attending mass with my mom (Rosalie Link) & we would see Margaret with John. Margaret would always have a loving smile on her face & would lighten the church up. God bless you, Margaret & keep you close to him.
