Margorito Mondragon Obituary

Margorito E. Mondragon passed away peacefully in his home on Aprill 11, 2007, following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Lisatda, two daughters; Kathy (Matthew), Marilyn (Rodney), and one son, Ben (Vicki), five grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He was born and raised in San Pablo, Colorado, and lived in Colorado Springs for nearly 50 years. Margorito was a talented musician and a former Mariachi. He was a spiritual man with a ready smile and a terrific sense of humor. He had a passion for music, astronomy, traveling, camping, history and archeology. He was a friendly and devoted family man. Funeral Services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1830 South Carona Avenue, in Colorado Springs, are as follows: Rosary and Eulogy, 7:00 pm Sunday April 15, 2007. A Burial Mass, 11:00 am on Monday, April 16, 2007. Margorito requested there be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be sent to Pikes Peak Hospice, 824 East Pike Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
