Marian Rouse Obituary

Marian Louise (Joseph) Rouse Jan. 12,. 1946 ~ Sept. 6, 2013 Resident of Concord, CA Born to Leroy C and Helen M. (Evans) Joseph of Concord, Ca. Marian graduated from Clayton Valley High in 1963. She became a licensed beautician in 1964. She worked for 10 years in the area beauty shops. She changed careers in 1975 and worked for Lesher Communications, Contra Costa Times for 25 years and finished her working career with Knight Ridder in 2006. She was a Co-Chairman of the DV Postal Customs Council for many years during the 80's and 90's. Her sons David Howard and Edward Rouse survive her. Also her brother Howard Joseph (Bonnie), aunts; Mildred Lujan, Patsy Skoug, her nieces Tamara James, Traci Britt, and other cousins and many friends. She loved to organize group get together. Nautilus Society is handling the ending transfer. Her ashes will be scattered at sea. Her family thanks Caregiver Katie Habibi and Billie Garrett for their loving care.

Marian, I will really miss your friendship and those many telephone calls. We shared numerous memories..like our times at the CCT and all of our former Bingo Days..You were a great friend and the person that always planned a CCT yearly get together with our CCT friends. You wil be dearly missed.
