My grandma was very special to me. She always took care of me. When I was a child, she would drive from her home in Salida on Friday evenings to Colorado Springs to pick me up from the Deaf and Blind school. Grandma took us on many different trips. One of my favorite memories is when Grandma and I went on a train to California. I miss my grandma and love her.

My mom was so special to me and helped me in so many ways and did some many things for me. I was very happy to be able to spend time with her and help her. I think of her every minute of the day. She always helped me in times of trouble in any way she could. I am sorry that she had to go but know that it was her time. I loved every bit of the good times that we had together. She was a very giving and loving person. There was not anything that mom couldn't do. I am so glad that she was my mom and I love her very much!

I was very fortunate to have such a wonderful "Gramms". She was always a giving and caring person and also had a fiesty side. I have many wonderful memories of spending the night with her, playing paramedics and letting my younger brother and myself fix her up, New Year's Eve celebrations, and playing cards with her and a neighbor well after midnight. She developed my love of birds from an early age. My children also had the unique and wonderful opportunity to know their great-grandmother. During her last few years, they were able to spend one on one time with her and have her with them on birthdays and all the holidays. They also got to experience her love of playing cards and board games. We miss and love you Gramms!

Grandma was a very special lady. She was a hardworking, giving, loving, honest, outspoken woman with a zest for life.Grandma gave anything she did her all, whether it be her work, gardening, cooking, taking care of her home, she never ceased to amaze me with what she could accomplish in a day. Grandma was always there in times of need, even in her later years she would do what she could to help.
I have so many memories amd stories of Grandma that I will always cherish, and hold on to, and pass on to my children, and their children.
Grandma I think of you each day and miss you more than I can put into words. I love you so much. You will always be in my heart.I was so lucky and blessed to have had you as my Grandmother

She was one of the “Greatest Generation” and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. I was very fortunate to have such a wonderful woman as my grandmother. She lived life to the fullest and Elizabeth Taylor had nothing on her. What a splendid woman.
