Marie West, of Monument, CO, born February 14th, 1923 in Eldora, IA peacefully passsed into God's loving arms at her home, on January 25, at the age of 102.9. This Iowa farm girl was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and "Grandma Marie" to many others. She held her family, faith, friends, and especially children close to her heart. She served her country in WWII as a Navy WAVE, receiving many honors. Her journey through life gave her many opportunities to touch the hearts and lives of others. Marie is survived by her daughters Lois (Roger) Voga, Connie Clark, Patsy (John) Janeba, her youngest sister, Peggy Woods, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her Celebration of Life will be held on July 25th, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Monument, CO.
