Dear Mom and Dad...
It was 4 years ago today we brought Mom home on hospice care...
Dad and I took care of you at home, where we wanted you to be...
We lost you on 7-11-12 at 1:00 pm
Yes a part of me went with you Missy...
Dad and I cried all the time, then 9 months later I lose him too...
I am glad you are together again in the most beautiful place on earth...Heaven
I miss you both every minute of every day...
I love you both to Heaven and back...
You never told me it would be this hard...
Your great grandkids are growning up fast...
Every one misses you two...
Oh and Dad, this year I got Elk of the Year...
Only the 2nd women to get it in the history of the Lodge...

It's been 22 months since you have been gone.

Justine turned 12 in January and Grayson just turned 14 this week...My how time flies! Remember when we went to Alaska and how long we waited for her to arrive? Well yesterday it was 13 months that you have been gone Mom and tomorrow it will be 4 months that Dad has been gone...
Still struggling daily after losing you both... But I do take comfort that you two are together again in Heaven...

I did drive by myself to my class reunion, had a great time, but missed the ride with my Dad... We always did that trip together...

In therapy one day a week now, been going for about 8 weeks, seems to help, but I guess time heals a grieving heart...?

Hi Missy... Well my computer has been being fixed for almost a month, so I haven't written... Well Christmas was sad, our first Christmas without you... We did light a special candle in your memory... New Years, well you know, same old thing...

You were my Mom's best friend and MY best friend's Mom. Those were some big shoes to fill, and fill them you did! I remember spaghetti nights at your house (my favorite, 'cause my Mom didn't make it!) and your homeade dill pickles. You always made me laugh and you were there for me with wise words these last few years that we shared the same battle. I'm so very sorry for the loss of Marilyn. I was blessed to have met and cut her hair once. She was a card. Jill you were so patient and loving with her til the end. You Mom was so lucky to have such a living daughter!

You always had something funny to say :) and made us laugh every day...The tears are not stopping, but I am trying to put my big girl panties on, just having a real hard time with it all... I knew you would not be with me forever, but I just was not ready to let you go so soon...
