Marilyn Jane Paul was born on December 28, 1939. She passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 85 in Colorado Springs.
Popularly known as "Jane', she was born and raised in Iowa, where she married her high school sweetheart Weldon Paul in 1958. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1967 and settled on the Westside.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband Weldon (2021) and her older sister Peggy, who also lived in Colorado Springs (1993).
Jane leaves behind three children: Mark Paul, Tami Paul - Renck (Scott Renck), and Virginia Hickey, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In her younger days, Jane worked at Western Forge and Duckwall's. In later yeas, she obtained a CDL license and traveled with her husband on road adventures across America in their semi-truck as owner-operators.
Kind-hearted Jane was a diminutive five feet two, a hardworking woman who never let the grass grow under her feet.
She loved to bake cookies and Christmas candies and was always available to others in need. Her hobbies included needle work, crocheting and hunting for treasures at thrift stores. She will be missed.
