After a brief illness, Marilyn Ferne Thomas passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025. Born in Coatesville, NE to Florence and Francis Habrock, Marilyn met and married William Thomas (Bill) in 1957. She was predeceased by her son, Steve Thomas. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Bill; daughters Brenda Lecklider (Mark) and Deanna Lewis (Kevin), and five grandchildren, Jacqueline Sanchez (Fernando & daughters, Esme & Valentina); Jennifer Lewis; David Lecklider; Amanda Larner (Brandon & sons Emmett & Hudson); and Daniel Lecklider (Maggie).

Prayers and Love to Bill, Brenda, Deanna, Jacqueline, all the grandchildren, extended family and friends. I will always remember Marilyn dancing at Jacqueline's wedding and being the true life of the party! She always had an endless amount of energy, and I will always remember her fondly!

We are so sorry for your loss. I will miss visits with Marilyn!! I enjoyed visiting Marilyn and Bill over the years, with baked goods in hand. One day Marilyn greeted me at the door and said, "now Debbie you don´t always have to bake before you come! We just like visiting with you!" But then she added, "but boy I sure do like these chocolate covered peanut clusters!" Ha! I always enjoyed talking to her (and Bill). She often reminisced about trips with their family and National Park visits. She often mentioned what a huge help Deanna, Kevin, Brenda and Mark were to them as they aged. She was a great conversationalist and will be greatly missed!! Thankful that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all eternity
