Marion Kennedy Obituary

Marion Ingeborg Kennedy ascended on December 6, 2006. Born in Berlin, Germany she came to the U.S. as a war bride and married Michael Silva, who was killed in 1957. She later made her home in California where she taught dance and modeled in Hollywood. In 1961 she remarried R.R. Kennedy of Kansas City, MO. Who preceded her in death in 1968. she made her home in Colorado Springs in 1973. She always said it reminded her of Germany. She was preceded in death by her mother, Fritzle Costephens and stepfather L. Costephens of Walsenburg, CO. She is survived by two daughters, Evita Pacheco and her husband, Don Pacheco of Colorado Springs and Edith (Edyl) Payne and her husband, Phillip Payne and their two children: April and Phillip, Jr.; granddaughter, Michelle Stapeton and husband Travis Horn of Colorado Springs; granddaughter, Michelle Stapeton and husband, Travis Horn of Colorado Springs; great granddaughters: Alex Blackwell and Katie Stapleton both of Colorado Springs. Additionally she is survived by her caretaker and companion Ms. Darlene Clausen who was with her when she suffered a brain hemorrhage. Out of respect for her wishes, there will be no services. Please make donations to Pikes Peak Hospice at St. Francis Hospital in lieu of flowers. The family intends to spread her ashes in her beloved Baden-Baden, Germany.
