Marion Terry Obituary

Terry
MARION CATHERINE TERRY
1955 - December 13, 2020
On December 13, Marion Catherine Terry, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 65. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado in 1955 and raised in Denver by her aunt, Ruth Adams until her marriage to Benny Thomas Terry in 1972. She then became a military spouse for 22 years accompanying her husband to various locations around the world. Upon his retirement, she then followed him again for 22 more years as a government civilian to various locations. In 48 years of marriage, she remained a steadfast, loyal and true companion. All she ever wanted to be was a good wife and a good mother. She had many different hobbies and activities over the years but what brought her the most joy was being a mother to her daughter Samantha and then a grandmother to Vincent. Family was everything to her and was reflected in everything she did or said. She had an extremely kind and gentle spirit, was a good Christian woman who truly treasured her friends and never hurt anyone. She was escorted into heaven by Jesus and his angels and heaven is much richer with her in it now. She is survived by her husband, her daughter and grandson as well as her very close friend, Deb Guida. Services are pending.

Catherine loved easily and completely. She enjoyed creating websites, quilts, greeting cards, drawing and painting, talking about Jesus, praying for others, pet sitting and being with friends. We will miss you terribly, Cat.

What a lovely woman who loved Jesus, family, friends and animals. She shared her laughter and love easily. She was artistic, creative, knowledgeable about many things. She created websites, drew, painted, sewed, pet sit, created greeting cards and loved the outdoors. She befriended and cared about people. I loved her laughter. You will be missed terribly.
