Mark Cash Obituary

Mark Thomas Cash, age 93 of Mentone, California passed away July 13, 2010 at the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans Administration Hospital in Loma Linda, California. He was born on November 16, 1916 in Hawes, Arkansas and was a California resident for the past 17 years. Mr. Cash was a Veteran of the United States Army where he retired after 28 years of service. He also retired from Kaman Sciences. He enjoyed golf, loved to travel, he loved to photograph nature and was the world's biggest St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Mr. Cash is survived by his wife, Marie Cash of Mentone, CA, his daughters, Karen Cash Huber and Lynne Cash Smitley both of Colorado Springs, CO, son-in-law, Ben Huber of Colorado Springs, CO, step-son, Ronald Harris of Lake Los Angeles, CA, granddaughter Tonya Merkle of Colorado Springs, CO, grandson, David Huber of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, brothers, Talbert Cash of Heavener, Oklahoma and Brian Cash of Grangeville, Idaho, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.
