I was so saddened to hear of Mark's passing in the Trails and Open Space newsletter. I got to know Mark as we both served on the Colorado Springs Planning Commission in the early 2000s. I loved his easy going nature and wit.

Well Mark...I was hoping for another motorcycle
Trip with you this summer after our last jaunt to South Dakota. Lot of water under the bridge since we met in Friendship Lane (Colorado springs ) and roomed together at CSU. Always the guy seeKing the next adventure or life experience. I feel blessed to have reconnected after returning to Colorado 20 years ago. I also will never forget how you and your Mom helped when my Dad became ill. I'll miss you buddy.

I am so saddened to learn of Mark's death. He was such a terrific young man. He was so dedicated to care of his mother before her death and so kind to all her friends. He will be missed. Rest in Peace, Mark and God Bless!
