It was nice having you in the army with us, and skiing with you. You were a bright spot at that time.

Hey Mark ~ I was thinking of you all day yesterday. You share a special day with another one of my friends who celebrated her 50th Birthday yesterday. I'm sure you were celebrating yourself. Love you, miss you and hope you are dancing!

I am sorry that I did not know Mark, but I wanted to thank him and his family for a gift, in Mark's name, to VIBES-an organization in Colorado Springs. I am visually impaired, and this group provides guides for me and many others, which enables us to enjoy skiing and many other outdoor acitivities. We are touched and honored to be given a gift in Mark's name, and please know that he will be remembered with affection. He sounds like a wonderful man.

Mark, I remember you from way back in 1976 when we were 7th graders at South Jr. High School. The classes we had in the Little Theatre were always more fun and animated because of you ("wombley!", a word you created). You were very funny and had a great attitude. I am proud to say you were one of my classmates from the Class of 1982 at Tech High School. You were very nice and I will miss you. Take care. Please say "hello" and give a hug to our other classmates who passed on before you did. See you later!

I had the pleasure of working with you at Cedar Heights from 1994 thru 1997. Everytime I look up to Cedar Heights, I think of you and remember the fun community and Realtor events that we hosted. I recall meeting your parents and how proud they were of you and your success. You were like a brother to me and I will always remember your smile, enthusiastic spirit and love for sales and working deals.
My regret is that you have left us too soon and we lost contact with each other. I have very fond memories of the days at Cedar Heights and the love that you had for the community and residents.

Mark,
From the moment I met you at the Cedar Heights sales office, I knew we'd be friends. We shared so many good times: skiing and mountain biking with abandon, camping trips in Utah and Colorado, smoking cigars around a camp fire, Brad's house boat at Lake Powell, volleyball at the Madison House ("Go!"), four-wheeling on Old Stage, and just hanging out talking and laughing! Your child-like enthusiasm for all you did was contagious; kite flying, playing with RC cars, sneak attacks with a water cannon! We teased you endlessly and you always took it with your usual good humor. You introduced me to many incredible people, including my wife Tracey. Though we didn't keep in touch much the past couple years, know that I thought of you often and will remember you always!

Mark,
You always stood out from the crowd…with your outgoing spirit and your generous smile. I will miss how you and Tucker would just drop our house for a chat, our animated card games, and our outings together. Thank you for being such a good friend to my husband and me.

Mark,
It only took one smile from you to reveal the spark that fueled your sense of adventure and passion for life. Thank you for team Aw Schucks!, midnight mountain biking through Cheyenne Canyon, and sharing yourself with all of us so openly. You’ve moved on to bigger adventures, but know that those of us still experiencing the ones you left behind will think of you as we dust off the dirt or snow.
To Mark’s family,
Thank you too for sharing him with us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mark,
I sure will miss your great smile and your laughter, especially the laugh that would make me wonder what you are scheming. I will cherish the good times we had skiing, camping, Pikes Peak hill climbs, and nights at the round table. Remember burning the round table? What fun we’ve had. But now, it’s time for us to say goodbye, so you can continue on your journey. Take good care of those special ones that have gone before us…Mutley, Splotch and the rest of the gang. Til we meet again…

Mark,
You were always dear to my heart and a special friend. My family and I were recently in Colorado Springs on the day you passed away visiting the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for Mother's Day and your face came to my mind. At this time, I wondered what you have been up to and why we have not kept in touch. You were always a joy to hang out with and always challenged me to think out side of the box. I will miss your smile and your friendly loving spirit.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
