I went to high school with Mark and we were friends from then on. I spoke to Mark after he set up practice in CS to find he was happy and doing well. Today I am on my way to CS and thought to see if my husband and I could get together with Mark and his wife, but was shocked to find his obituary. I loved singing with Mark; I can hear his wonderful sound in my memory. So sorry you are gone too soon, my Friend

My husband who died 4/24/14 was Anatomy chair at CCOM when Mark was there also. Jack had a favorite story about Mark's great kindness to us there, so we were pleased to find him here at Express Care and saw him for treatment and to renew our cquaintance. I just learned of his death through son Ernest who learned of his death when he was treated recently at E C. Both he and I are greatly saddened. Jack and I had hoped to meet Mrs. Walton socially, but that did not happen. I still hope to contact her with my sincere condolences.

Remembering a kind and talented friend. Mark and his father showed outstanding dedication to our profession and CCOM through their love and teaching of osteopathic principles. We share in your sorrow and loss.

Mark was my doctor and a wonderful friend. I am greatly saddened hearing he has departed from our lives. Never had I recommended a doctor as often than Mark Walton. People for the most part, do not care who you are or how much you know until they realize how much you care. Mark certainly cared with sincerity and genuineness. May God comfort his family during this very difficult time. Mark Walton, thank you for being you. L. Kevin Lawless

Though I lost contact with Mark over 30 years ago, I often reflected on his kind and giving nature. It was Mark who first interviewed me and recommended me for admission to the CCOM class of 1978. From that time forward, he became a mentor to the principles and practice of OMT, as well as a good friend to share counsel in life. Although our profession and life's paths created distance and direction where continual contact was eventually lost, his spirit and contribution to CCOM, the osteopathic profession and to me personally will never be forgotten. Thank you again Mark and May God Bless You as you well deserve.

Dr. Walton was my doctor for 16 years. He was a wonderful physician with much wisdom. I felt that he cared very much about my health. At the end of each visit he would say something kind like "Be well my friend." I enjoyed listening to him tell a story such as about a place in the world that he traveled to. He was an intellectual and I enjoyed our discussions about various topics. After a visit, I felt a little more positive and a little more inspired. I will miss him. May God bless him and may he rest in peace.

Dr. Mark Walton was a wonderful, passionate physician who cared very deeply for his patients. I should know, I had the pleasure of working with him for almost 10 years. When in need, he was always there to take care of me and my family. When my dad was ill and I was too far away to help, Mark was the first to step in and take care of him when no one else would. It was quite a shock to me and my family when we heard of his passing. I am so sorry that I didn't take just a minute every now and then, when I would come home to visit, to stop in and say "Aloha". Thank you for all the medical knowledge that you given me. I will miss you terribly my dear, dear friend!

Thank you to Dr. Walton for leaving this world a better place with his countless contributions. I was only a recent patient of his and only now discovered his love of the arts. What a discovery to find that he sang opera! I do too, and wish I would have known that sooner! Dr. Walton's impact on countless lives will live on forever.

A truly wonderful person and a great friend. Mark was my doctor for many years and also served with me on the board of directors for Star Bar, the oldest theatre company in the Springs. A bright light is gone from the world. Thanks for everything, Mark. You'll be missed, old friend.

Dr. Walton was not only my doctor, he was my friend. He treated 4 generations of my family! (My parents, myself, my daughter and her husband and their children) He helped me through a very difficult time when my husband passed away. He encouraged me and told me that I would be OK eventually. He was right! He made me a stronger and better person each and every time I saw him. I always enjoyed his stories and his thoughts about politics, healthcare, his travels and the world. I will miss him so much! He was a great man! May he rest in peace.
