I served with Marshal in Libya. We shared an interest in science fiction. He was a good friend. Last night his name surfaced in a dream so I looked him up and to my sorrow found he had passed. RIP my friend.

I remember going to the house as a baby and while he wasn't my grandfather, he treated me like one of his granddaughters and I will always remember him and how his face always lit up every room.

My grandpa was a quiet man who was always there. Every Christmas, birthday or family get together he was there to turn on the news or a football game, clean up the wrapping paper and sit in his chair. That's what I will remember most...he was a great man who was always there. He bought me my first (and second) car and took care of his family. I look up to his marriage with my nani and hope to be with my husband for an amazing 53 years. Ill miss you.

My father was a true pain in the butt and I will miss him more than I can ever make you understand. He, without knowing, shaped me into who I am today. His work ethic and the way he gave to others without taking credit was a true inspiration to many of us. I could always count on him and always will try to make him proud. My life will, I hope be a living tribute to my father, my friend...I love you Dad!
