Marta was a friend of mine in college and thereafter. Her heart was always open to me and my family. We will miss Marta but her warmth and sense of humor will live with us forever.

Dear Price Family,
Please accept my condolences at this very hard time. Mrs. Price was the best. I always felt welcome in your home and greatly appreciated Marta´s generosity of spirit.
I called her once-either in college or shortly after-to ask for her chicken rice recipe. I was cooking dinner for a boy for the first time and wanted to make something special. She patiently walked me through the process, explaining that I should boil the chicken, bones and all, with vegetables. The water that remained was called "stock." I had heard the term before but never really knew what it meant. (This was before the days of cooking networks, ha, ha.) She told me I could cook the rice in the stock for extra flavor, though it wasn´t necessary. But if I did, she assured me, the rice would be much better. After chatting with Mrs. Price, I felt like I knew what I was doing. Her guidance gave me just the confidence I needed.
Love always,
Katie M.

Marta was the steady hand throughout the 43 years Ran and I have been together. She always provided calm, logical advice with love and clarity seen thru a lense of love. She was there to help us with our first-born, Hunter, helping me learn how to be a Mom, and continued to be there for our family throughout many years of life that included joy and trials. I feel very blessed to have had her in my life, knowing how much she meant to Ran and thus all of our family. Thank you never seemed to be enough and I hope she knows how deeply she was loved and appreciated. I get a great sense of peace knowing she's finally getting to meet her father, Grover, and reunite with her mother, Barbara and all the family members who have gone before her. God Bless you Marta, Rest in Peace knowing you have touched so many of our lives in such a positive way! Love, Rocky

To my sister who was always there for me, we had some great memories that I´m glad we have been able to laugh about these past few months. You´ve always watched over me and I will greatly miss our Thursday afternoon calls. Rest in peace, love and miss you Ran
