Martha Falk Obituary

Martha Y. "Pati" Falk passed away unexpectedly March 8th 2007. Pati was born Oct 13, 1948 in Montgomery, AL. She was married to Timothy Falk June 14, 1993. Pati is survived by her beloved husband, Tim; her beloved sons Michael and Keith Houston and Timothy B. Falk and daughter Kimberly Chavanne and son-in-law Todd Chavanne; brothers Rick Young of San Antonio, TX; Henry Young of Westchester, PA, and Strudwick Young of Marble Falls, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Martha (Talton) Young of Montgomery, AL. Pati attended Robert E Lee High School in Montgomery, Al and graduated from Auburn University. Pati worked for the Pikes Peak Library District, Penrose Library for 12 years, work she deeply loved. Pati also loved to travel with a special affection for France and was a master of the culinary arts. Pati is dearly loved and will be sorely missed. A visitation will be on Monday, March 12, 2007 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N Cascade Avenue. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel.

Pati was a great co-worker at PPLD, someone who I recall fondly as a dedicated, hard worker and fun! Her wonderful, ironic sense of humor and southern style made all her observations a delight to hear. She will be missed greatly.
