I remember Grandma Nielsen from my time as a 'new guy' fire figher at Station 8 at Chelton and Airport in 1997. She would visit and bring her fantastic cookies and tell great stories. I always appreciated her steadfastness in the face of adversity and how she seemed to wring every last bit of 'juice' out of life. She served as an excellent example of how to live a good life! God Speed, Grandma Nielsen.
