Marty Gilbert Obituary

One of the best times with my dear friend. RIP my love! I am sure you'll have the other angels wearing silver in no time (and denim too). You are and will be my shining star!

I am so sorry to learn of Marty's passing after a Google search when my dear friend did not respond back on her birthday as she always has over the years...Marty was and always will be one of my very dearest friends. She took me under her wing after I moved to a new and unknown town by myself in Denver and together we worked for Digital Equipment for several years but from there our friendship grew and we would do small vacations together or spend weekends with the oldies (b&w old classic Bette Davis...she showed me how enjoyable those classics were) and we shared many movie nights at her home (which to her was a B&B as you were always welcomed). We'd shop for hours having breakfast out and wrapping up with an early dinner only to grab pillows and popcorn and movies in at 6pm till we fell asleep. My heart hurts...and prayers to all the family and many friends she held dear to her. God certainly gained an angel with you. All my love my dearest and truest friend. I have never been the same since leaving Parker CO to go back to Mass... as you were too far away... but have left forever footprints on my heart.

I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Marty, she always brought a positive smile and spirit into the room.

I knew Marty 50+ years ago and remember her as a beautiful, vivacious, and loving woman. My condolences go to Traci & Trent and the rest of the family. I'm sure you will miss her deeply. (I'm Bruce's cousin)

So sad to hear this news. Marty was a light just entering the room. Although I hadn't seen her in many years from all the years at DEC and CPQ, I have fond memories of some girls nights at her house and her smile and that twinkle in her eye. Condolences to the family at this time of loss.

Closing my eyes, I can still see her face, with her twinkling eyes that seemed to dance, and her embracing smile that touched your heart. Marty was a unique. Her spirit was pure. Age did not define her. I celebrate her life, as I know she would have wanted all of us to do. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to her family, the jewels in her life.

IM so sad to hear about Marty! I had the pleasure of working with her for the last five years at Digital. I will never forget her, she is such a beautiful woman. we had a lot of laughs working together. Her number one topic was Tracy and Blue. she really loved her family.

You are truly blessed to have such a wonderful Mother and I a friend and coworker.

Sad...remembering Marty from CXO3 days. Cherish the memories

I was saddened to hear of Marty's passing. She was a co-worker and a friend. Peace and prayers to the family!

Our hearts are shattered to lose such a dear friend, but memories of her will always make us smile. Anyone who ever worked at DEC/Compaq/HP at CXO3 knew and loved Marty very much. May God hold her in His arms till you can once again hold her in yours. Praying for your family.

Your beautiful Mother and Grandma has a light that can NEVER be extinguished, just like our beloved Jules.
Her Essence radiated so bright in this realm, that even though I was robbed of personally meeting her, her presence was so lovely and embraced.
My heart weeps so deep for you all, understanding this depth of loss, as we know.
My prayer remains with you now as yours has been so faithful toward Brian and I, for Jules.

I am so so sorry to hear about the passing of Marty. She was a beautiful, loving and caring women. I loved listening to get adventures in Vegas, and the joy her family brought her. She will truly be missed. Blessing to all of you.
