My condolences and prayers go out to the Peck Family. I grew up on Prairie Road in Colorado Springs. Though, I hadn't seen Marty since we were all just kids in the neighborhood, I'm very sorry to hear that he has passed away. May he rest in peace and may you, his family and friends be comforted.

My Birthday, Two Step and Bowling Buddy

Marty,
You and I are 18 days apart, we have spent so many birthdays together, you were my Two Step partner at the dances out east, we were bowling partners, I learned to ride a bike with you, and you and Mike taught me how to ride your Mini Enduro motorcycle and the bigger ones you had.
Oh and you were so protective of me at school and in the Knob. You loved to pick at me when I had to trim the edges on lawn day and ran as I chased you with the clippers. We had so many good times camping and fishing, somehow you always caught fish and I got my line tangled up. I used to be a great communicator on the CB radio, you taught me well. You never tolerated those who would bully others. Your heart and care for others was a huge part of the amazing man you became. I was always bragging and so proud to say Marty Peck is my cousin, the brother I never had. I love you so much and miss you terribly. I am so blessed to have so many memories to hold on too, You made a huge impression on my children and my grandson also. Every year on Aug 2 when we celebrate
Jaydens birthday we will celebrate you as well. I know you are watching over us all. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR LOVE AND MEMORIES. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. Rest my Love your in no more pain and in Gods loving arms. Your beautful Smile will always be remembered. xoxo

To Ms. Freda and family,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Marty, we were so surprised to get the call to hear he had passed away. I'm in shock still as I write this. I can recall all our talks and plans on going hunting together one more time. Every time we made plans, it didn't work out. He was a great friend, one I could turn to if I needed help in any way. I'm going to miss knowing he's not here, to even talk to about this years hunting trips. Want an awesome friend he was!
Ms. Freda, please know that if you need anything we're a block away.
Love to all,
Keith and Theresa Spaulding

Hey Uncle,
You were a man among men, I will and always have loved you as if you were my father. You were the one who taught me how a man should be a man. When there was no one there to talk to I knew I could always call good ol uncle Marty no matter the time of day you always found the time to give me and I appriciate that. You were very much my hero, and please know that even though you have moved on to a greater place I will always love you Dad.

Marty,
When you were young I was officially your cousin, your babysitter and your house keeper but in reality and in my heart I was your sister and friend. I love you so much; you will always be a special part of my life!!
I have so many good memories, especially funny ones.
You doing your homework with your head on the floor and feet on the wall…finding chicken bones in your bed where you cleaned up leftovers from the night before.
You filling up the bathtub and diving into it, flooding the bathroom floor….you always were part fish; guess that's why you like fishing so much!
I remember when your dad would whistle out the back door and you would come running, even if you were a mile away; you knew his whistle.
And when you got older the day you got married, how handsome you were all dressed up and how excited you were! When Alyssa was born; you were never more proud!! You were a tender and caring father and an honest and loving husband. I am proud of the hardworking man that cared for his family and loved them so much!
I will remember you as a rough, tough, tenderhearted teddy bear! ? I am so glad we were able to have our talks in the last few months, nothing left unsaid, no regrets.
I know you are in heaven with both our dads and our Heavenly Father hunting and fishing! WOW…
it doesn't get any better than that! Like we said a few weeks ago, “We will be together eventually!”
Until we meet again, I love and miss you.

Memories of Marty are all so dear to my heart ,and what a sweet brother he was. The best times we had were our time together in the mountains.I remember when I showed him how to catch brookies from on top the rocks. We went from riding bicycles to motorcycles on all our family camping trips.

We shared the love of the outdoors no mater what it was we had fun. Always an adventure with Marty you just never new, and lots of spur of the moment things like find a road , and drive it to see where it comes out . We would laugh so hard we cried , and we have seen so many kinds of wildlife, and many many places to fish.

Marty, little brother, best friend I will miss you ,but never forget you. You are always with me.
