Marvin Morrison Obituary

Marvin J. Morrison died June 24 in Colorado Springs. He was born June 27, 1935 in Lawton, Oklahoma; his parents were John and Vinnie Lee (Mooney) Morrison. He grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, graduated from University of Oklahoma as a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was an avid Sooners fan his whole life.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn (Rogers) Morrison, a son, Blake Morrison (John-Michael May), and a daughter, Christen Tuxworth (Jeff), sisters, Marcene Primrose (Turner) and Marilyn Keller (Jim).

Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 219 E Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, Co 80903 in the sanctuary on Wednesday, June 28 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hope and Home, 4945 N. 30th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 or Marian House, Soup Kitchen, 14 West Bijou, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
