Mary Jane (Hoyne) Bradley of Colorado Springs, Colorado peacefully passed away on April 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born March 15, 1940, in Denver, Colorado and soon adopted by William and Cleo Hoyne. She was a Colorado native, raised at the Broadmoor and a graduate of St. Mary's High School.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Walt Bradley; children Traci Macdonald (John), Bill Bradley (Beverly), and Kileen Ihlenfeldt; six grandchildren Collin, Bradley, Ashley, Elizabeth, Kali, and Nicole. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kelli Bradley.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was the light of her life. She took immense pride in each of them, and nothing made her happier than spending time with her children and their families. Mary had many lifelong friends whom she loved dearly. Mary's faith, support, loyalty, and dedication was vital to her relationships with family and friends.
Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and everything Christmas. She enjoyed day trips to Cripple Creek to try her luck on the slot machines. Her love of flowers led to her career as a Master Floral Designer. She was the founder and owner of the Sign of the Rose Florist for nine years.
Mary embraced her Catholic faith and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church. Over the years she served on different ministries including, Eucharistic Ministry and the Bereavement Committee.
Rosary for Mary will be Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. Reception will follow immediately in the church hall. Private burial will take place at Pike Peak National Cemetery on Monday, April 29, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (give.tscalliance.org) or St. Jude (www.stjude.org) in Mary's name.
