Margaret was a friend of my Mom, Ethel Cheeseman. I live in Austin, TX now and was just appreciating a lovely painting of Maragaret's hanging on my bedroom wall. What a lovely and admirable human being. We were blessed by her being here.

Margaret Brenton is mentioned in many of the old newspapers of Cascade and Green Mountain Falls. Her artistic sketches were in demand by the summer residents and guests of those small towns. She was also a friend of my father, Paul R. Hathaway, and she has two of his sculptures, I believe. My condolences to Margaret's family. She lived a long, fulfilling life.
