Mary Ann was a lifelong resident of Green Mountain Falls. She graduated Manitou Springs High School, 1954 and University of Colorado Boulder, 1958. She married Manitou classmate Jack "C" Davis Jr. They raised three daughters, devoting their lives to their educations and upbringing. She was a talented artist, seamstress, award-winning quilter, and partner in the family business.



Mary Ann helped found the Ute Pass Historical Society and authored local history books. She volunteered at Ute Pass Elementary and the Colorado Springs School. She was an El Paso County election judge and nursery supervisor for Church in the Wildwood.



Her welcoming smile, kind heart, and strong spirit endeared her to family, friends, and her beloved Ute Pass community.



Mary Ann is survived by husband Jack, daughters Katie Gardner, Laurie Waalkes, and Shelley Davis, sons-in-law, four grandchildren, a niece, four nephews, sister Marg Ed Conn Kwapil, and in-laws Alan and Jill Davis Snyder.



She was preceded in death by parents, Malcolm and Dorothy Hart Conn and brother, Malcolm Conn IV.



Memorial: August 28, 1:00, Church in the Wildwood, Green Mountain Falls. Memorial donations: Ute Pass Historical Society, Woodland Park and National Jewish Hospital, Denver. Mary Ann will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens near her parents.
