Mary Josephine Fletcher, age 64, passed away May 23rd, 2022 at her home surrounded by family after a very brief battle with cancer.
She was born June 15, 1957 in Wisconsin to Casimer "Casey" Jablonski and Helen (Wezyk) Jablonski. Mary attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the University of Maryland. During her life, she had many professions including lifeguard, kindergarten teacher, ski instructor, real estate agent, but she most enjoyed waitressing.
She married Charles Fletcher in Colorado in 1986. Mary gave birth to daughter Casey Fletcher and son Charlie Fletcher and enjoyed the company of many pets. She is described as being "fiery" with a huge personality, despite her short stature.
Mary is survived by husband, Charles Fletcher, daughter Casey (Joe Madaski) Fletcher, son Charlie (Ashley Arellanes) Fletcher, sister Jane (Leroy) Sieja, granddaughter Leigh-la Nelson, and grandson Tony Jo Fletcher, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents Casimer and Helen Jablonski, brothers Roger, Jerry, Dick, and David Jablonski.
Family and friends are invited to attend Mary's Celebration of Life, set for Sunday, July 3 at the American Legion Post 38 at 6685 Southmoor Dr., Fountain, CO from noon-4pm. We will be having a potluck, so we ask you to please bring a side or dessert to share. Flowers for the celebration can be brought to the venue on the day of the event.
