Mary is forever in our hearts!

Ahhh Mary! To this day, I still miss you and think of you every time I step out of my house and look towards the cul-de-sac (a new generation of kids are playing there now making wonderful memories) or drive up Parkview and look up towards your house or whistle (you always would call me to whistle Jeremy home)! I will never forget the sound of your voice and that beautiful smile, your special heart - so loving...and your hair! 5 times more than I have ever had! You were taken from this world and your family way too soon! I will miss you and love you always! To the Fritts family, my heart still goes out to you and I miss you all so very very much! I pray you are all well and happy! All my love always, Laurie

A few thoughts for Mary and family.
I don't know if I will ever understand what death truly means, unless I first ask some questions about life. What is the purpose of our religious and human existence?
Jesus is number one; if Mary were here, I would think she might say something like this: “Life, is about many things. Life is about growing to know better the people that you love, and sharing it every day. I am lucky for the life I've lived, and I am so happy to have loved all my kids and family. Today, my life is about doing just that. “
So if life is this incredible journey then what do we do when there are obstacles, like when we don't feel like we're in control anymore and we consider ourselves to be lost? “Take time to realize that life is not, and might never be easy all of the time, and I'll remind you that we have good days, and bad days. It is so simple to see that yes, all of us are unique and deal with things a certain way, but in this big world we can bond together with anyone we give our love to. Love truly will conquer all.”
Mary had a way of using her heart at such a high level of heart-power that I remember most-her smiling earthly presence! I would always think to myself, “wow” when I'd see her as I could just feel her love radiating in a room like this. Anyone can see how lucky she made us feel to be a part of her world. I remember, too, how much of a gentleman I'd feel as she always made me feel this sense of self-confidence for myself. Mary is a unique role model who creates a true feeling of happiness and a feeling of life that is so great that it's like fresh clean sheets making a bed.
I loved everything about her, and I will miss her forever and forever, until I see her again.
For the time being, I intend to love; because when I do, I think of my Aunt Mary. And of course

My Dear, Dear Mary,
Sometimes when I think of you I am reminded of the great military commanders and civilian leaders throughout history. You're in a major engagement (life its self) and you're outnumbered by 1, 2, 3, 4 and then wow! 5 to 1 (Bill and 4 sons), you are wounded in action (some medical issues) but you have a mission to complete (write great books and raise a great family). So, you lead your troops straight up that hill, and it was steep and there was a lot of resistance from time to time, but you seized that hill and secured that objective and along the way you captured the hearts and respect of everyone you met and everyone who read any of your writings.
What a trooper, despite all, you seemed to always see the good in everything and everybody, as can be witnessed by the fact that you married Bill and called me friend.
There are so many memories and stories to tell that I dare not start or it will be a book that I write.
Just let it be known that we, the captured, love and miss you so much and we will carry you in our hearts and in our minds until we meet again.
Much love, James
But Mary isn't here. And nobody's laughing.
(A thought I borrowed from one of Mary's books)

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Mary! She was a dear friend in High School. We were in the orchestra together and shared many wonderful times at HS potlucks and sporting events. She was kind, loving, and a little bit funny as well. She could always make me laugh. I'm sure that your many cherished memories will sustain and comfort you. She will be missed!
