Mary Hodge Obituary

Mary Jean Bale Hodge was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she attended Ottawa Hills High School and Calvin College. She resided in Midland, Michigan for 33 years with her husband and daughter. She lived in Colorado Springs from 1978 to 2010, when she moved to Denver.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Hodge, Jr., and her sister, Betty Worfel. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Hodge Shearer, and her two grandchildren, Whitney Shearer and James Shearer, all of Denver.

Mary Jean enjoyed bridge, needle point, flower arranging, gardening, and traveling the world with her husband and daughter.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. in Denver at Crown Hill's Chapel of Peace, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mary Jean and John Hodge.
