Mary McKinzie, 93, of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. She was born on May 29, 1932, in Farmville, North Carolina.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dale McKinzie, and their four children: Charlene, Diane, Marc, and Bradley. Known for her glowing personality, Mary never spoke an unkind word and brought warmth and light to everyone she met.
She worked as a cosmetologist and found joy in both her craft and her faith.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 829 South Hancock Blvd, Colorado Springs.
A service will follow on Monday, September 15, beginning with a gathering from 9:30 to 10 a.m., and a funeral service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Envoy Church, 2025 North Murray Blvd, Colorado Springs.
Interment will take place at 12 p.m. at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs.
Mary will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
