Mary Meyers Obituary

Mary Ann Meyers, age 72, passed away May 5, 2009, in Colorado Springs. She was born May 1, 1937, in Covington, Kentucky to Ray and Elinore (Wischer) Webster and grew up in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Villa Madonna College (now Thomas More College). In 1958 Mary Ann married Donald L. Meyers, her husband of nearly 50 years, who passed away in October of 2008. During their many years in Clearwater, Florida Mary Ann enjoyed coaching youth and volunteering for her church. She also taught for over 10 years at St. Cecelia School. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Mary Pat Barrows (Glen); son, Donald Michael (Margaret); daughter, Monica Tyson (Luke Woolmer); son, David Mark (Jennifer); a brother, Bob Webster (Mary); and nine grandsons. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs. A reception will follow at the church. Private interment. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Apostles Catholic Church and to Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
