When I was eight years old I went to Aunt Mary's graduation. I thought it was so wonderful at George Washingon High School. Ten years later, I graduated from George Washington High School. As I stood there looking down at all my relatives Aunt Mary, Uncle Don, Uncle Gale, Grandma Johnson, Uncle Guy, Aunt Cathy, Mom and Dad, I felt I really accomplished something. As I was growing up I thought my Aunt Mary was a movie star. Uncle Gale had all these glamourous pictures of Aunt Mary on the wall. Once she had a big wave in front and her long hair in a hair net she looked beautiful. When I was 28 years old my Aunt still looked the same to me with her sweet smile. Things I remember about my Aunt Mary were first, she always had the best tan; second, she always had a well managed home and decorated it well. Lastly, when we were younger she would drag me everywhere she went when she fed the chickens, milked the goats, or fed the hogs. She helped me feed the horses, Daisey, my pinto, and Funny Boy, her fol. My mom was helping Aunt Mary when Danny was born and it was my birthday, but daddy was still in the army. Uncle Don put a bible together for me and Aunt mary gave me a B-Day party. After years of being seperated from my Aunt Mary and Uncle Don my husband went to visit them in Colorado. They were both still the sweetest most loving, caring, funny, aunt and uncle, I remember. All the good cooking and baking and family time. I will always fondly remember my Sweet Aunt Mary May. Your Loving Niece,

My Gram showed me so much love and gentleness over the years. I will miss the moments she would share her memories with me and her outlook on life. I'm so glad I had her all this time to learn from her and love her. I will see you again someday Gram in His kingdom.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I wish I could be their. I know she is in heaven with Bud having a good laugh. She was a trooper who fought long and hard and touched many lives. I remember meeting her and Bud when I was a little girl back in Hawthorne. I will miss her. Godspeed Mary, say Hi to Bud for me.

Your family is tight in our thoughts and prayers. I know the fond memories of Mary will make you smile amongst your tears. The kids all knew her as Grandma Mary and loved it when she was at Lynda's spending time with them. May she rest in peace. Much Love! Christina, Kayla and Forrest
