So many memories! How many kids get to crawl around on the wet grass "picking" worms one night and have a real French dinner the next? Aunt Polly touched us all and her legacy will live on through us all. Who could ask for more?

We are deeply saddened by Polly's homegoing, but we know she is with Jesus and suffers no pain. She was a blessing to us all at Trinity. She loved the Lord and what I enjoyed so much about her,is that she would say what everyone else was thinking, but were afraid to express out loud. You were a blessed family to have her. She is a great loss. Our sincere Condolences.

Aunt Polly was such an inspiration to me. I loved our visits and phone calls and hearing how proud she was of each person in her family. I will always remember these things about her: sitting on the dock listening to the waves at Grandma's house, creating delicious themed meals, her love of planning family gatherings, making animal shaped pancakes and hard boiled eggs served with the tops peeled away in the little egg holders with tiny spoons to scoop out the eggs, tea parties, her music box with her harmonica, singing her rainbow song when the sun would hit the crystals just right in her kitchen window, magnolias, her cute infatuation with Joshie Poo (Josh Turner), and her story about her romantic (not so romantic ha ha) bubble bath with Uncle Stan. I loved the way she connected with everyone no matter what age they were. I'm going to miss her so much because of the way she lived and loved!! I'm so thankful God put her in our lives and for the way he showed Himself through her!

What was that little ditty Aunt Polly taught us all to sing to help us remember the primary colors while she taught us to paint pictures of her beautiful mountains? Then she taught the same for my daughters and then once again, for my granddaughters. She was and is such a beautiful and a mighty force in God's arsenal. I will love her forever.

To all of Mrs. Travnicek's family, especially Matthew, Michael, and Caitlin DeYoung. My sincere sympathy and condolences upon your loss. I was able to see her on several occasions during the years we went to church with you. She was very outgoing and warmhearted each time. I'll never forget the personal tour of the Charles Schulz wall and her lovely back yard that Timothy and I enjoyed on one occasion when we dropped Matthew off after youth camp. We are praying for all of you.

Mrs. Travnicek and her wonderful husband opened their home to Ruth Washburn Cooperative Nursery School children so they could see the wall that Charles Schulz had painted when he lived in the house. It was SO charming and Mr. Travnicek also showed the kids (and their lucky parents!) his woodworking studio. SUCH lovely people. I am sending love and gentle hugs to the family and friends left behind.

My Dear Aunt Polly....I love you so much. You have been and will always be in my heart. You made our childhood special and fun. You made me feel important and loved. Our yearly visits on vacation meant homemade donuts, spanking the bread, games played, getting ice cream from the ice cream truck, and picnics and hikes in the Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls! You and Uncle Stan called me Choo Choo purse Patty up to the very last time we talked :>). I know peace is with you And your spirit is always with me. Love Always, Patty

I enjoyed being in Mrs Travnicek home as she hosted many events while I went to high school with Tammy. She was so sweet. I am sorry to hear of her loss but I am glad she is with her savior and Tammy! Cheryl Keith.
