Mary Rose Obituary

She was my best friend from 1974 to 1999 and I can't believe she is gone without me getting to talk to her again. I'm devastated. Would like to hear from Andi or Tyler?

Ms Rose will be missed dearly by the Wax Family! She was not only my daughter's teacher but a friend who was always there to encourage & support our family! She was an inspiration to our daughter & so many other children & truly a wonderful person! She will always live in our hearts!

I remember her enthusiasm for teaching. Mary touched the lifes of many people.

I always admired my beautiful cousin for her tranquil and kind spirit. I am sad that she has left us and my heart goes out to her children and Justy, Pat, Cathy and Lori and their spouses. Time is so precious....

I taught with Mary Jo at Audubon Elementary from '83-'89. I learned so much from her - doing whatever it takes to meet a student's needs, keeping a sense of humor while working on the front lines of public education, and treating all students and their families with respect. She made a difference in the lives of many children and raised the bar for her colleagues with her skills, caring and dedication.

Mary was an incredible teacher to my daughter and all the students that were blessed to have her. I was blessed to have her as a friend and share lots of laughs. She truly was an inspiration to all who got the opportunity to meet her. My love and sympathy to her family.

Mrs.Rose will always hold a special place in my son's heart. She was his teacher last school year at Madison. He is deeply saddened by the news. The world has lost a great human being. May god bless her, and her family.

My heart and my daughter's were saddened by this new. Mrs. Rose was her favorite teacher. She was a great woman to everyone who met her. I don't think there is one parent that didn't learn something from this marvelous person. She will be missed more than words can express.

My heart is sad and mourns the loss of my dear sister, Mary. She was a wonderful person, fantastic teacher, and an amazing mother. She will be missed by all who knew her. To know Mary was to Love Mary. I take heart that Mary is in heaven, where there is no pain or sorrow.

Tremendous person and will be sorely missed. Mary Jo was a superb teacher; so well thought of by her colleagues. And, thank you, Mary Jo, for your compassion to others in time of need.

Mary Jo, you were an inspiration to my son, Aaron & I. You were my son's favorite teacher ever. He had you for second grade at Madison Elementary. He is now 19 years old and will never forget what a strong and loving teacher you were. None of us will ever forget you! Thank you for teaching & caring.
