Mary Jan Waters, born in Pittsburgh, PA passed away from cancer in Colorado Springs with her family by her side. She graduated from Carlow University with a degree in Business and Communications. Jan's greatest passions were her love of family and her work in fundraising. She raised millions of dollars for YMCA's in Colorado Springs, Detroit and Dallas. Her latest work was with the Dallas Fire Fighter's Museum.
Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Kane Glass and father Bill Waters Sr. Survived by sister, Betsy Waters Crow (Robert) of Colorado Springs and brother Bill Waters Jr. (Laura Rose) of CA. Niece and nephews, Kathryn Crow Garner (Anthony) of NE, Matthew Crow (Heather Jensen) of CO, Benjamin Waters (Heather Stephens) of CA, Kevin Crow (Raymond Yang) of CA and Brandon Waters of CA., family grandchildren, Aidan Crow, William Garner, Lukas and Declan Yang, Oliver and Nora Waters.
Memorial Mass: February 16, 2019, 11:00 am, Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Colorado Springs
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Jan's name to the Dallas Fire Fighter's Museum.

I remember Jan from Carlow where I had several business and communications classes with her. She was a really outgoing person with such an upbeat attitude. I see that she had a wonderful philanthropic life - no surprise! Much sympathy to her family.
