My heart was so very heavy when I learned of this, and my heartfelt sympathies and healing thoughts go out to Matt's family. Like many others, I have fond memories of going to school with Matt--he was one of the most accessible and down-to-earth people I've encountered.

My deepest sympathies to Matt's family and friends. I have alot of great memories of Matt and our many adventures at numerous Jimmy Buffett concerts, not to mention all the great times we shared in high school. Those early days wouldn't have been the same without Matt and I am deeply saddened that he is no longer with us.
