I had not seen Matt since grade school, at Taylor Elementary. But I've Never Forgotten him. His sense of humor and heartfelt laughter has stayed with me all of these years. My Sincere Condolences to All Matt's Family & Friends... My parents owned the little store in Golf Acres,"Your Convenient Foods," also known as, "Dave's Place," for 15 years. I remember Raynette coming into our store many times. You went to school with my older brother Dan Mullen. My parents & brother send their heartfelt sympathy also. Our Loss is Heaven's Gain... Keep Laughing for me in Heaven Matt.

I regret that we were out of town and unable to attend Matt's funeral. Matt was a great employee and excellent fire fighter. He had an uncany sense for dangerous situations and constantly looked out for the safety and welfare of his employees and fellow fire fighters. He always exhibited a positive attitude and was nice to be around. He was a welcome member of our staff and I trusted his knowledge and experience knowing that his people would always be safe. He will be missed.

My memories of my cousin Matt will always be with me. As I walk this earthly plane with love all around me...gratitude showers me. I have been blessed to have known you, to have laughed with you..to have you in my life. I hope you are at peace, hanging out with Unc and the rest of our beautiful family that has passed before you. They are waiting with open arms. My heart and love goes out to you Aunt Pat and cousin Raynette and everyone else who feels this deep loss. Thank you for the time my cousin. You are greatly missed. I'll see you at the entry gates...smiling and waving. Rest in Peace.
Your cousin Lisa

Your life here has passed too quickly for me. In my heart I pray for you to find your peace. I pray your journey will be swift and joyous and that you may dwell in a loving and nurturing presence. I wish you will walk again in your mountains by a clear running stream. I wish you will find your bright energy and carry with you your wondrous sense of adventure. I hope that you can remember all the lives you touched and somehow finally know the depth of which you were loved. You are a child of the Universe and in this place, we call home, you will be missed. ~Jo Lasky
