Matthew Webb Obituary

September 9th, 1985 – June 30th, 2008 Matthew was born in Dallas, TX to Craig and Christy Webb. He died tragically in Colorado Springs, CO. He was only 22 years old. Matt, as he liked to be called by his friends, grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Rampart High School in 2004. He was a good student, earning Honor Society membership in high school. Matt was working toward his goal to obtain a degree and eventually work in the Information Technology area. Matt liked working on computers, camping with his family, and loved animals, especially his cat "Smoky". He liked to drive his car and listen to his "subz" turning up the bass on his favorite music, which was mostly rap, hip hop, but some rock, pop, and techno. He leaves behind his Parents, Brother Adam, Grandfather Ethan (Lolita) Wolfe, Grandmother Romaine Webb, Aunt Cathy Wolfe, Aunt Susie Webb, Uncle Scott (Patty) Webb, Aunt Wendy (Todd) Logan, many cousins and many friends. He will be missed. Matthew is now safely in the arms of Jesus in heaven with his Grandpa Rowbert, Grandmother Virginia, as well as, many other loving family members. Any memorial contributions can be made to your local Humane Society in Matthew's name. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, July 3rd, at 3pm at Mountain View Mortuary in Colorado Springs, CO.

I went to Middle School and High School with Matt. He was such a great person. It has been years since I had spoken to him, and I am extremely sad to see him go in such a tragity. He was so down to earth, he was smart, and cared so much about others. He will be missed dearly. May god bless and be with his family at this time.

I remember matt from our days back in high school. I had a few classes with matt at rampart and remember going to him for help somtimes, he was always there when you needed help with anything. I lost touch with him over the past few years only seeing him around town now and then. This is a big loss and while i didnt see him everyday he was still a life friend. He will be missed and now he is in a better place.

As for the family sorry for the loss. He was a great person going great places. Now he can do all that he wanted and more with endless possibilities.

I, knew Matthew Webb, from visits to Grand Jct. I, was friends with his cousin Chip Jarvis. Matt, was the most down to earth, and intelligent young man. (he was approx 15 at the time) You could tell he was going places, with his life. He had genuine concern for his fellow human beings. I, know it is hard, but he is in a better place, standing next to heavenly father, in the celestial kingdom.
God Bless;
Brother Smith

I knew Matt from high school. We graduated together and I remember him as a good guy who was fun to be around. I feel terrible that this happened to Matt and his family. He will definitely be missed.

My memories go way back to Tiger Cub field trips, and Frontier Elementary activities, and a one of Ross' birthday party. I remember Matt fondly as a fun-loving little boy.
