Maureen Aldapa Obituary

Aldapa
Maureen Aldapa
April 08, 1925 - March 30, 2018
Maureen Aldapa passed on Good Friday, 30 March 2018, under the loving care of her family and friends. She taught us all how to love and forgive.
Her life was devoted to her family, always being there in time of need, and making us laugh. We all have the most amazing memories that will carry us through our lives, giving us strength and joy. Her home was the meeting place for all family gatherings, for Sunday dinners with ever so lovey trimmings, such as Yorkshire pudding and mint sauce.
Born in Ramsgate, England, she survived WWII. As a young girl, she was the leader of the feared "Gas Works" gang, yielding wooden swords and bows with arrows made from sticks. As she became a young woman, she loved the dances in Margate. She ended up falling in love and married a "bloody Yank" by the name of George.
She is survived by her children, Elisa, Art, Anita (Oddjob from Goldfinger), and David. Oh...she liked to ride on the back of motor bikes...hence step-bro David. We love and miss you.
