Sherrie Klayton, 77, passed away peacefully at home. She was an active Air Force Academy and Colorado Springs volunteer for over 40 years and a retired Elementary School Teacher. Sherrie will be interred at the Air Force Academy cemetery on July 17, 2023. A memorial service in her honor will take place in the Memorial Pavilion on the cemetery grounds at 2 pm. Donations in lieu of flowers, in honor of Sherrie's memory may be made to the Colorado Springs Veteran's Parade or to the Black Rose Acoustic Society.

Al, it was a privilege and honor to know Sherrie and you through Black Rose Acoustic Society, and also Sherrie through her volunteering at the AFA thrift shop.....Sherrie touched our lives and we'll remember her as a person of beauty and grace as we continue to hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers....Besides the BRAS family, we are honored to join you in the ranks of the retired AF family.......Blessings and Prayers!
