Maureen Shondeck Obituary

Maureen was born on April 5, 1935 in London, England to William Elliott & Vera P. Wright. She married Robert L. Shondeck and together they had two sons, Jeff & Gary. Maureen had always been in the entertaining business when she could be. She used throw neighborhood parties for all the families to come to. She was in the restaurant business for years and opened the Parlour Pub where the Pikes Peak Dart League was established. She was a wonderful mother and friend to many, many people. She loved going to garage sales and looking for those special deals. At home she loved to cook for everybody including families in the neighborhoods where she lived. TV was always fun with her as she loved the Price Is Right and Jeopardy. She had a great sense of humor and she loved to make people laugh. She will be missed by many people from all over the Colorado Springs area. She is survived by sons, Jeff (Pam) Shondeck and Gary (Karen) Shondeck; four grandchildren, Bryce Shondeck, Cole Shondeck, Scott Shondeck & Kate Manning. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11AM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO.
