Max Irwin Obituary

Max Irwin, 91 of Colorado Springs, CO., passed away on Monday morning at Pike's Peak Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born in Weston, OH., on April 1, 1915 the son of William and Debbie (Bannister) Irwin. On June 28, 1947 he married Carolyn Evinger who survives in Colorado Springs, CO. Survivors include daughters: Barbara (Richard) Parsons of Napoleon, OH., and Robin (David) Lopez of Colorado Springs, CO.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers: Earl, Harry, Robert and Cress Irwin. Mr. Irwin was formerly employed at the Dana Corporation of Toledo for 30 years, he was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church, Colorado Springs, was a member of the Weston American Legion, various Masonic bodies and served his country in the Army during WWII as a sharp shooter. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Snyder Wesche Funeral Home and Crematories of Napoleon at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Peter Marcis officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Deshler where military services will be accorded. Friends may call at the Snyder Wesche Funeral Home and Crematories of Napoleon on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed towards a charity of the donor's choice.
