Maxine J. Piercy Obituary

Maxine J. Piercy, age 90, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at a local care center.

She was born on February 23, 1925 in Lyons, Colorado to John and Frances (Kincaid) Comstock. She was delivered by her grandfather; Dr. William R. Kincaid of Lyons.

She grew up in the Lyons & Longmont area, during the summers of her high school years, she worked as a maid at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park with her sister; Peggy Zenobia.

She married Vance E. Piercy on February 5, 1955 and raised a wonderful family.

She had several occupations in her life including bookkeeping, working at the Department of Motor Vehicles, working as a Realtor and most importantly was a homemaker and mother to her four children.

She is survived by her son; Dean Piercy and her three daughters; Linda McCann, Cynthia (Larry) Bishop and Deborah (George) Clark. She has seven grandchildren and ten great-grand children, and one sister; Jean Hejl.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance and two sisters; Peggy Zenobia and Jessie Crescentini.

Funeral Service, 1:30PM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of God of Colorado Springs, 627 N Circle Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
