May Perry Obituary

May Perry joined the Lord on January 30, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. May was born February 2, 1934 as May Lightfoot in Manchester, England. Moved to South Africa in 1966 with husband Joe Waters and sons Michael and David. She worked for Barclays Bank for many years. She met her future husband on vacation and decided to move to Colorado Springs and marry Robert Perry. They lived in the Black Forest and she was a member of the Black Forest Art Guild, the Antique Questers Group and the Pikes Peak Blues Society. Robert died from cancer in 1998 after a long battle. May then moved into Colorado Springs and worked for the Antique Gallery and Keepsakes Packrats doing estate sales. She loved antiques and playing the slots at Cripple Creek. She will be missed by many but is in a better place now. May leaves behind her fiancee Ken LaFave, sons Michael and David, and Grandsons Brian, Justin, Dean and James. A memorial service will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church 846 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Colorado Springs at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 3, 2007. Please do not send flowers. However, In lieu of, contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice 825 E. Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903 or a charity of your choice.
