Ma, yo se que es mas que un mes desde que yo le escribo. Ya mero se me va terminar el tiempo de poder escribirle en la computadora. Domas me queda esta el 28 de Junio de poder comunicar con usted en este modo. Me ayuda bien poder aser esto con usted. Siempre voy ayar otros modos de hablar con usted. La tengo conmigo dentro de mi corazon y mis pensamientos por siempre!

Ma, yo se que el 15 de este mes an pasado trese meses desde que se fue usted para el cielo con DIOS. En ese dia no estavamos aqui en la casa para poder comunicar con usted en este modo. Estavamos en el camino. El 14 de Junio, como usted sabe, se casaron el Jesus y la Jennifer en Santa Fe, Nuevo Mexico. Estava todo muy bonito, ma! Llevamos a mi deddy y la Gloria. Yo se que usted miro todo lo que paso. Usted estava conmigo en mi corazon.

Ma, por favor, ayudeme estar bien sin usted. Siempre lloro por usted-- pero tambien tengo recuerdos que me asen reir y que le doy muchisimas gracias a DIOS porque me dio a usted para aser mi MARAVILLOSA MAMA.

Despues de estar huntos en la casa de Gloria, fuimos mi deddy, Gloria, la Cindy y yo para estar con usted. Le lleve rosas de diferente colores de mi jardin. La Reenee y la Olivia tambien mas temprano le deharon flores.

There are times when you would give anything to be with your loved one again, if only long enough to be relieved of your loneliness and reassured that your loved one is still a part of your life. At other times, you may feel a need for solitude, to withdraw temporarily from others and the pressures and decisions of daily life. This need to turn inward, to reflect on your loss, to get in touch with your innermost feelings, can be a helpful time for you to find your tears and figure out where you are going from here.

As a child, you may have learned that feelings should be buried and mourning should be done alone. Perhaps you never learned to accept or ask for help. As an adult, you may be too embarrassed or ashamed to let your emotions show in front of others, equating grief with self indulgence or self-pity. You may feel isolated, different and apart from everyone else, convinced that no one understands. You may feel stunned at the normalcy of life around you as people go about their business, totally unaware that your world has stopped and your entire life has been turned upside down.

Some people you know may be done with their grieving long before you are, expecting you to be "over it by now" or worrying that you're somehow "hanging on" to your grief. Uncomfortable with your strong feelings, they may change the subject or avoid any mention of your loved one's name.

Not all people respond to loss in the same way, and not everyone shares the same cultural, religious or spiritual beliefs about death and the afterlife.

Me cuerdo de usted en su "spot" en la cocina cada ves que fuegan esa cancion. Usted se ponia a cantar 'Ring My Bell' y movia sus manos como tenia campana en su mano! Escribo esto con lagrimas en mis ojos, pero eson lagrimas de puro amor de usted. Ma, nunca se me va quitar de mis memorias tanto amor de usted!

The grief experience is different for everyone; it doesn't happen all at once or at the same rate of speed. And unless you're aware of the clues to recovery and their significance, your progress through grief may be so subtle and so gradual, that you will not notice it at all.

If you can recognize certain changes in attitudes, feelings and behaviors in yourself, you can measure your own progress through grief. Become aware of your own healing.

Fuimos yo, la Cindy, y la Irene a su tierra para decorar de la Navidad. Se mira muy bonito! Esta tiene arbolito de luz que el Ernesto y la Gloria le deharon.

Como usted sabe, cada ano compro una ornamenta nueva para poner en mi arbol de la Navidad. Este ano, compre una perfecta ornamenta que me enseno en la tienda. Es de una angel guardiana y dise:

When your loved one dies, you grieve not only for the person, but also for the life you used to have, the love the person gave you and all the special times you spent together. Perhaps there is no time of the year when you're more aware of the empty space your dear one has left behing than during the holiday season.

Holidays can create feelings of dread and anxiety in those who are bereaved. The cliched images of family togetherness and the often unrealistic expectations of a season filled with picture-perfect, joyful gatherings can cause tremendous stress for those who are not grieving, let alone for those in the midst of the painful, isolating experience of loss. Holidays by nature are filled with nostalgia and tradition, but in grief, even the happiest memories can hurt. When you're in the midst of pain, and the rest of the world wants to give thanks and celebrate, you need to find ways to manage your pain and get through the season with a minimum amount of stress.

Su ropa se va dar de donacion. El Luis conoce a una mujer que quidava la mama de la Pat. Ohala que si se va dar bien su ropa por unas que la necesitan.

Manana, Domingo, vamos a terminar este processo. Falta sacar sus joyerias y otras cositas de usted. Yo se que todo que tiene es muy especial. Todo va esta bien, ma. Otravez, que este ay con nosotros--mirando que se aga todo muy bien.

Four months ago today, mom passed away and went to heaven with DIOS!

I miss her so much even though I know she's taking care of us any way she can. Today, we will be in mom and dad's room to get mom's clothing out of the full closet. Dad needs space for his clothes. His clothes has been in the middle room for a long time. It's cute--mom had enough clothes that dad had no choice--he needed the middle room closet for his belongings.

Since Luis has been here since last week for his mother-in-law's funeral services, he and Pat will be leaving soon. We are going to bar-b-que today to make our day for mom more special. We'll take care of mom's things and say bye to Luis before he goes back to Alaska. Who knows when we'll be able to see him again.

Dios, again, please give us the strength to do this today. I know we'll be thinking of a lot of "good times" about mom. It will be a little easier, but still difficult.

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

Buenos Dias, Mi Maravillosa Mama!
Como siempre, estoy con usted en mi pensamientos! Como la extrano!

One year ago today, mom had her lower right leg amputated.

Thank God, I believe it kept mom healthier for her following eight months before she passed away and rised to heaven with GOD on May 15th, 2007.

Her leg was so red and fevered that it needed to be done for mom's health. I know mom didn't want to be without her leg. We had several difficult but passionate discussions about it. Mom realized that her pain and infection weren't getting better.

Together, Mom, Dad and I decided that it was best for her.

I remember before the surgery telling mom "to be strong and pray and to think positively about her surgery so it wouldn't be as difficult as it could be without faith and her inner strength."

Thank God, she did well. The physician was impressed with mom's ability to withstand the surgery. He was worried about it because of mom's delicate condition.

Gracias a DIOS mom had more time without being in as much pain as she could have been in her remaining time here with us.

One month ago today, May 15, 2007, mom passed away. She is now in heaven with DIOS. The day before my irreplacable mother passed away, she was in a lot of pain and suffering. As I was holding her hand and crying with her, I told her it was okay for her to go to heaven to be with DIOS. It was so hard to say that to my mom as I was crying, but I knew the time was coming for her to go to heaven.
I told her that now it would be her turn to take care of me again once she arrived in heaven.

My life will never be the same without my beautiful mom by my side. My 'MARAVILLOSA MAMA' will always be with me in my heart and soul in my thoughts and prayers.

Grandma, I just feel like I havent done all could of like( show you things, place, pictures, laughing, crying, seeing your grand children cooking together ect), you where a mother to me and a teacher, and you are greatly missed, it was very hard for me to carry you, and I was very honored to so.
