Melanie Hammond Adams, 57, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed on surrounded by family on June 7, 2023.
Born in Seattle, WA to George and Roxanne Hammond, she grew up around the world as the daughter of an Air Force officer, graduating from Ramstein High School in Germany, before returning home where she graduated from Colorado State University. She followed by earning her MBA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs where she met her husband of 30 years, Sam Adams.
She will always be remembered as a fun mom by her three sons, Tyler, Matt, and Alex. She is also survived by her father, George, sisters Karen and Cindi, and her aunt, Shari, in addition to 2 cousins, and 8 nieces and nephews. She was a faithful follower of Christ and spent years of her life dedicated to the mission of inspiring and equipping young people to take ownership of their financial future. She treasured time spent with friends and travelling to new places and she cherished all the memories created. However, she found her greatest joy in the time she spent raising her boys.
