Melody Dawn Holz (nee Kapus), 43, passed away on April 13, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas.
Melody was born February 13, 1981, in Colorado Springs, to Kevin and Patricia Kapus. She graduated from St. Mary's High School.
Melody married Jason Keleher on September 6, 2006.
She is survived by her husband Jason, daughter Rachael, and sons Joshua and Jaxon; mother Patricia, sister Michelle, grandparents Bill and Ruth, aunt and uncle Rebecca and James, mother-in-law Patty, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Melody was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, great grandparents, and father-in-law Rich.
A memorial service for Melody will be held at True Life Community Church, 821 S. Royer St., in Colorado Springs, on June 8, 2024, at 10am.

Melody was more than my best friend, she was my soul sister. We met my freshman year of high school.
Though we had our ups and downs, I knew she would always be there when I absolutely needed her. My heart is shattered into a million pieces. The world is a darker place without her light.
