Melvin House Obituary
Melvin graduated from Second Ward High School. Immediately after graduation he joined the Air Force and married his high school sweetheart Mary Elizabeth Durham. They had three children Velsie, William and Verian. Upon retiring from the Air Force after 21 years, he worked for School District 11 as a building manager for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, 2 brothers and sister. He leaves to mourn his memory his wife Mary E House, son William House, daughter-in-law Julia House, daughter Verian as well as sister-in-law Verian Plummer and Elmira House and half-brother Harold Gordon of Charlotte North Carolina. Melvin will be missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to thank all at Pikes Peak Care and Rehabilitation Center, who always made him feel special and provided such great care.
