Meredith Simmons Obituary
Mrs. Simmons was born April 6, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to Herbert and Meredith (Dye) Michael. She was married to John O. Simmons May 9, 1942.
She lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1958 and resided 10 years in Escondido, California while caring for her parents.
She is survived by 3 sons: J.D. (Sue), Joel (Christy), Steve (Tinker); 1 daughter, Linda Talbert (Lonnie) of Grand Junction, Colorado; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews. Her loving husband of 69 years preceded her in death, as well as one grandson, Matthew.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Medalion, 1719 East Bijou Street, with Chaplain Dave Campbell officiating. Private inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials in Meredith's name may be made to The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter, 10855 Dover Street, Suite 500, Westminster CO 80021.
