Michael DePace Obituary
Michael was the proud proprietor and owner of DePace Siding, LLC and enjoyed driving around Colorado seeing his imprint on the ever-changing cities and sprawling housing developments. He was even more proud to have been able to provide so many an opportunity to excel in their trades and earn a good living for their families. We will always be proud of the work that his hands did for our family and the intelligence and determination that he displayed while keeping his business thriving even through the housing crisis in 2008.
One of his greatest loves was nature and he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was most happy when his line was dropped in the water and only happier when he watched one of his kids reel in the big one. He spent his vacation time traveling extensively in Colorado setting up hunting camps and chartering deep sea fishing boats on the coasts. Michael instilled in his children a sense of reverence for nature, hard work, and the value of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28, 2017 from 2- 4pm at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

My heart is saddened by the news and loss of a friend and mentor. I met mike while I was still in the army, my brothers Pat and Mike Fry were working for Mike Depace doing siding. I went to work part time with them on my days off from the army. After leaving the military Mike offered me a job as a sub contractor. It was a good time for me. Mike and I tried other ventures like selling pogs ( a game for kids) well three or four years later we went up to his loft in his barn and low and behold. Boxes of unsold pog items. Well we gave it a shot.
Mike threw some really good parties. He loved getting all of his friends and family togeter her. I'll alwas appreciate the party he threw when we found out my brother Pat had cancer just so we could get together play music and enjoy Each other.
Anyway Michael Depace I will miss you.
