Mike was born in Bridgeport, CT to John and Elizabeth (Liz) Kusterle. When Mike was 6 years old the family moved to Colorado. Mike graduated from Woodland Park High School in 1994, and from The University of Colorado in 2007 With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.
He is survived by his loving children Kai Lillian Kusterle and Quinten Michael Kusterle. His Father John Kusterle (Carol) and his Mother Liz Kusterle, Brothers, Eric J Kusterle (Candice) and Hans J Kusterle, and his Grandmother Slavka Kusterle of Skofija Loka, Slovenia. Also his Aunts, Uncle, cousins, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 2, 2024, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the hall at Our Lady of the Woods Church, 120 S. West Street, Woodland Park CO. A Mass will be held for Mike at Our Lady of the Woods Church at 11:00 am on the same date (March 2, 2024) for anyone wishing to attend.
Mike had a zest for life, and an unending love for his children who were the center of his world.
He loved the outdoors and had a passion for fly fishing. He loved sports and was a die hard Bronco fan.
When you are out in nature, and maybe fishing on one of our many rivers, think of Mike and smile.
